Woman inserts misoprostol into her vagina
To vaginally insert misoprostol, insert 4 pills deep into the vagina near the cervix

Vaginal administration of misoprostol is often advised by doctors, because it is considered to be the most "direct route" to the uterus, and can avoid stomach and digestive discomfort.

To use vaginal administration, insert 4 misoprostol (200 mcg) deep into the vaginal canal, near to the cervix. the mediine will be absorbed by the soft membrane of the vaginal walls after 30 minutes.

REMEMBER: vaginal misoprostol can be detected in the vagina for days after insertion. If you have concerns, use buccal or sublingual instead of vaginal.
